Don’t miss our first episode of HKN Talks, in which we are pleased to welcome Anna-Lena Erdmann a Copernicus Data Service Engineer, from EUMETSAT.

In her talk “Why we need earth observation – and why earth observation needs us” Anna-Lena motivates the importance and details of earth observation and guides us through a live demo of multiple sensor modalities of various of EUMETSAT’s satellites.

She further provides us with resources to access all the satellites data for free and shows us how to inspect the data either visually or programmatically using the Copernicus Data Access and Information System WEkEO.
